I contribute lifestyle, health, parenting and comment pieces to national newspapers and magazines, including The Telegraph, The Guardian, Daily Mail and Mail Online.
I also work with the news agency Bavmedia on occasion, supplying news, picture stories and real life features to news organisations and women's magazines.
My first book Managing MIL, a light-hearted read about mothers-in-law, was published by Peridot Press in November 2013. It resulted in television and radio appearances here and abroad, including: ITV Daybreak, The Daily Edition (Seven Network), BBC World Service, BBC Asian Network, Newstalk Ireland, RTE Radio 1 Ireland and many others.
As a regional feature writer for the East Anglian Daily Times I had the good fortune to interview, among others: John Peel, Terry Waite, John McCarthy, PD James, Robin Cousins and Will Young.
After graduating from Oxford University in 1998, I worked as a reporter and then feature writer and health editor for regional newspapers (East Anglian Daily Times, Cambridge Evening News, Western Morning News), before having my two children. I was also a regular columnist for Devon Life magazine (Gone West) and wrote pregnancy and new mum columns for the EADT.
I have completed a law conversion, with distinction and prizes and an MA in Creative Writing, with merit.
I love doing fun things outdoors with my children and rowing on and swimming in the River Severn.
I am available for commissions. Please contact me on 07701 048360 or [email protected]
