Freelance journalist, blogger and copywriter

United Kingdom

I'm a qualified journalist and personal trainer who is passionate about creating credible health, fitness and well-being content.

I have more than five years experience writing for a variety of publications, both online and in print, including The Guardian newspaper, Women’s Fitness magazine, The Body Coach website and MTV Fitness website. I also have an award-winning health and fitness blog – happyhealthynat.com.

More than a decade ago, I was diagnosed with ME/CFS and a very rare blood condition (neutropenia), and after keeping this a secret for many years, I've recently started to write about my experience with these conditions and how I live a 'normal' active life.

When I’m not writing, I can be found lifting weights in the gym, surfing (badly), learning gymnastics or annoying my teenage son with my singing.
