Robin M Wilson

A native of Inkster, Michigan, Robin Michelle Wilson was born in 1984. The eldest of two children born to her parents Charlene and John Morris, she began writing poetry in high school and later began writing feature articles and stories for children while a college student.

Robin has more than 20 years of professional writing experience which includes poetry, grants, essays, research, curriculum, feature writing, and children's books. She is the author of the children's book "Mama Got Rhythm, Daddy Got Rhyme," which was republished by Bristow Publishing in November 2021. She is also the author of "Jazz-A-Bet: An Original Jazz Alphabet," a children's book about jazz music, which was translated into Portuguese and published by Editora Ogums Press.

Robin’s feature articles have appeared in local and international publications such as Successful Black Parenting Magazine, Career Mastered Magazine, The Michigan Chronicle, The New Citizens Press, Brainz Magazine and other publications.

Robin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She taught at the Foreign Language Immersion and Cultural Studies School in Detroit, Michigan, before transitioning into full-time entrepreneurship.

In 2022, Robin was selected as a finalist for a United States Fulbright Hays GPA Brazil Fellowship, where she conducted research and wrote bi-lingual curriculum content for Detroit Public Schools Community District.
