This past weekend I re-watched Josie And The Pussycats (2001) for the first time in over a decade. This was a movie I would watch constantly during my days as a pre-teen, as it was always on cable at least once a month from 2002-2004.
Rage Against the Machine was formed during a significant political and cultural shift: the Cold War and the U.S.S.R. were coming to an end, neoliberal economic policies were gaining traction around the world, and the United States set in motion what would eventually become a seemingly endless string of conflicts in the Middle East.
On the outside, Source Gaming seems small with a very modest location, but on the inside, the new gaming and e-sports lounge is surprisingly expansive. Complete with red and black interior color scheme, and accessories to match, the venue hopes to be a major player in establishing, and expanding Denton's gaming culture.

"I guess my biggest influence is just being weird and different." This is how Denton-based rapper Character. describes himself, and the music on his debut album, Greatest Hits, highlights his self-proclaimed qualities perfectly. Character. is relentlessly amped and in-your-face with his delivery.
Keldrick Scott, 36, has been the head of local record label GitMo Music since December 2013. Scott is a reserved and soft-spoken man with a faded mustache, a goatee, and a shaved head. He has lived in Denton for most of his life, and grew up listening to a wide variety of music, including Prince, Michael Jackson, and Jay-Z, just to name a select few.
The music video for "Cacti" opens on a cloudy day outside of University Courtyards. Noah LeGrand gets into his car. As he sits for a few seconds, he lets out a soft sigh of frustration before abruptly getting out.
The Boombachs are a local jazz/hip-hop fusion group formed by members Adonias "AD" Wondwessen (vocals), Marcus Wheat (trumpet/keyboards), Manzell Bledsoe (Tenor Sax/Flute), Conor Veteto (guitar), Matt Westmoreland (keyboards), Dave Farrell (bass), and former drummer Terence Hobdy, replaced by Ray Rose. The members met in 2008 during their time in college while taking a music composition course.
