Peyton Ballard

Peyton graduated from Marshall University first in 2017 with his BSc in Health Sciences with the intention of moving into a role in healthcare administration. Once he secured his MSc in Human Resources Management from Marshall in 2018, he began his career in human resources at a company located in Huntington, WV. With oversight of all HR functionality, Peyton quickly developed a taste for reformation and wanted to explore how to be a part of making tangible, focused, change.

In 2020, Peyton became a founding team member of a newly formed angel capital network in his home state. Peyton served as Director of Entrepreneurship Initiatives and Managing Director for both the angel network and a business incubator and accelerator with over 100 active clients. His leadership brought together over 30 individual investors, nearly $1 million of investments in portfolio companies, and over $10 million in leveraged capital.

Starting in 2023, Peyton shifted to running his own management consulting company, Ballard Consulting Group, to better address his growing list of personal projects and engagements. He currently serves as CEO for Bluebirding, a SaaS mobile application in the Outdoor Economy.

Peyton loves to engage in new projects, meet with founders, and offers a range of experience and connections that help to propel clients forward by cultivating organic growth opportunities.
