I am the owner and founder of the TuthSpeaksGroup LLC, a multi-media coaching company that creates strategies and solutions for work-life integration/harmony (WLI/H).
I have a background as a certified career, executive, and life coach, trainer, author, and assessor and with over 20 years of business, coaching, and training experience, therefore I can write about career and personal development to leadership.
I hold a Masters of Education in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Science in Supervision and Management. I am Ph.D. student currently earning my degree in I/O Psychology.
In my spare time, I run a nonprofit I/O for Teens Inc. and MJA Publishing LLC, and my blog the WorkingWoman.co Blog. I have found another book I will add to this list: Personality Isn't Permanent by Dr. Benjamin Hardy, a mentor of mine.
I came across the term "job crafting" as I was doing research for an assignment for school. The definition intrigued me because I am always seeking methods for employees to be happier at work. According to the research of Jane E. Dutton and Amy Wrzensniewski, job crafting is: crafting your job to make it more meaningful to you.
I recently read " Do the Work" by Steven Pressfield and the title is fitting as he discusses a creator's biggest enemy " Resistance." These are quotes and phrases I selected from the book that had an impact on me, while the whole book is impactful, certain words stood out.

In 2015 I attended a Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) information session, and, while the presenter was speaking, I thought to myself, "This is like getting a mini PhD!" I was already in training and development and I facilitated training classes on a regular basis, so I didn't think I needed a certification to validate what I was already doing.
My definition of the word " career " is a journey of jobs. All of the jobs you have held have aided you in creating your career. Yes, that includes your first job of delivering pizza, the waiter/waitress job you had in college, and the job you had after college that you hated.
