Lena Levoin Louise Luella Finley

I am a current graduate at The University of Arizona Global Campus, and my name is Lena Levoin Louise Luella Finley. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, then relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2016. My high school was Paul Robeson, where I discovered a passion for journalism and art. However, my high school dropped the journalism course before I graduated in 2010, but I maintained my love for art.

From 2011 to 2014, I attended Kennedy King College, where I discovered another passion, Theater Arts, in the absence of journalism. I was a Phi Theta Kappa honor society member and performed in several plays while tutoring classmates. I earned an Associate of Arts degree while carrying my firstborn daughter in my arms, sending a note to all young mothers that they can do something while pregnant or as a single mother.I had previously taken both on- and off-campus courses, so I was certain that taking classes at The University of Arizona Global Campus online would be simple. I presently count myself among the university graduates.

I have been born with a few illnesses and health issues, but I will not let that hinder me from achieving my goals. I am happily engaged to my boyfriend, whom I mentor to help him receive his high school diploma online, and he persuaded me to return to school. I have an 8-year-old daughter Corlena, a 5-year-old son Jacquees, a 1 year-old son Jovanni, a 3 month old daughter, Justice, and a stepson, Jaylin, 16. I'm a proud mother graduating this fall.

Reading whatever book or fan-made comic I can get my hands on is one of my favorite pastimes. I enjoy listening to music, especially 90s R&B, 80s rock and roll, and Japanese instrumentals. It may seem odd to others, but it is true. It is very calming to me. Whatever comes to mind or heart, I sketch. It is a perfect way for me to express myself while still doing some aromatherapy.  My particular interest is in uncovering stories of mysterious world occurrences or theories to assist others. Finally, I enjoy spending time with my family while I have free time. Friday movie nights, Saturday game nights, and Sunday dinners are all common pastimes.
