Katherine S. Stafford is a multi-faceted and fearlessly growing writer. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz in American Studies and Columbia University School of Nursing in Nursing Science, she likes to use both sides of her brain, but not without first consulting her heart. Her freelance writing and blogging has focused on her passions for aviation and health. She has published with Hera Aviation Group, General Aviation News, Aviation for Women and Temptation Press. In her capacity as a registered nurse, several of her public health pieces were published in a regional California newspaper. In 2023 she self-published a book of poetry she wrote over 30 plus years called The Back Forty. She has completed a contemporary fiction novel and a romance novel with steamy sequels to come. Currently, she is working on a coming-of-age novella about a woman with ADHD learning to live and love, awkwardly.

A single mom at 19, Christy Wong worked full-time and earned a double major, all the while admiring the 737s flying over Las Vegas. "One day I am going to fly that!" she declared in 2007. Later, Christy met her husband-to-be, Steve Wong, and moved to Texas, where he worked as a corporate pilot.
Vonda Benson celebrated her 52nd birthday last year by earning her private pilot's license the next day. She is not shy to say it took 177 hours of flight training to get there. Besides a pilot, Vonda is a retired Wisconsin state employee, an ordained minister, a mother of five grown children and a grandmother of thirteen.
Amelia Earhart said, "The most effective way to do it, is to do it." In that spirit, I am doing it: Momma is learning to fly. Like so many aspiring and established pilots before me, I have always been drawn to aviation.
