Graduate Sports Journalist BA (Hons)

United Kingdom

As a recent graduate of Leeds Trinity University, with a 2:1 BA Honours degree in Sports Journalism, I have undertaken both voluntary work and work experience within successful organisations such as Kent Sports News, West Yorkshire Sport and threeandin.com. These placements have not only allowed me to gain an insight into the industry but also the skills which are needed in this constantly changing sector.

During my time at West Yorkshire Sport I worked in the media and communications department and was provided with the opportunity to head my own project. The application of all of my journalistic skills were tested to the maximum - multimedia aspects, practical skills, content writing and social media management. Skills which are crucial for the modern journalist.

I am looking to secure a position within a media organisation, in order to create written and multimedia content and hope to extend my passion and commitment for content creation and bring immediate success to what I am assigned.
