"It was a big scare finding that out because the diabetes diagnosis came after she survived a heart attack," the 18-year-old student said. Longoria elected to fourth term on Sharyland ISD board

The only incumbent challenged for a seat at the Sharyland Independent School District Board of Trustees will remain with the board for another three years. Cine El Rey joins 'The Interview' conversation, hosts free screening of controversial film

Sony's Dec. 17 initial axing of The Interview 's wide release on Christmas Day was due to an unprecedented hack (perpetrated by North Korea, according to the FBI) and theaters' responses to violent threats. Today's theatrical premiere is limited to a few hundred screens across the nation's independent and arthouse theaters, as well as theaters that are willing to take the risk.

Autopsy: Infant died of blunt force trauma to the skull

MERCEDES - Authorities are conducting a criminal investigation in the death of an 11-month-old infant after his death was ruled a homicide Thursday. Volunteer green thumbs help plant new garden

The 28-year-old guide at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center led the students in a demonstration Saturday on the proper way to fill in the flower beds - located directly across from the center. Missing San Juan man found

The San Juan Police Department has confirmed that Jesus Murillo was found at the Hidalgo Port of Entry Friday morning. Murillo, 73, was reported missing by his family after he was last seen at his residence Nov. 11 in the 800 block of South Standard in San Juan, according to a news release.

Agents seize more than 650 pounds of marijuana
