Jerry W Burns

For two decades, Jerry W. Burns guided Burns Craft Yachts in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, as co-owner and vice president. His company designed and built yachts and houseboats and coordinated sales with dealers across the country. Jerry W. Burns’ responsibilities extended to recruiting and training employees and overseeing every facet of production.

Mr. Burns attended Abilene Christian University and earned his BS in psychology, achieving recognition on the Dean's List of Academic Excellence. He subsequently gained the engineering and drafting skills that allowed him to construct quality water vessels, many of which were purchased by celebrity clients. A large number of Burns Craft boats are still in service on waterways and lakes across the country.

Well known as a painter of outdoor scenes, Mr. Burns is also an established writer with three books to his credit: Good Grief, Listen to the Music, and Preacher’s Kid.
