Award-Winning Campaigns
Created and led two campaigns against domestic violence, including writing and directing two flagship videos, and devising social media campaigns involving key Cambodian influencers. The campaigns enlisted men as anti-violence champions and provided legal support to women. Videos viewed 2.5 million times, campaigns reached 6 million and won 9 international awards for impact and creativity, including a Shorty Award 2019 and Media & Marketing Global Award 2020.
Co-led a team scripting, editing and shooting a series of short films exploring the challenges young people face in getting work, and how they overcame them. The campaign sensitively explored illiteracy, disability and other issues, and inspired thousands. The videos were seen more than a million times as part of a social media campaign which also spotlighted success stories: the campaign was a finalist at the New York Festivals Marketing & Effectiveness Awards 2019.
Working for disability charity United Response, I created and managed a campaign inviting forgotten disabled voices to express themselves on a blank postcard, which were then collected on our website, exhibited around the UK and finally turned into a coffee table book I wrote.
