Gabby is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Journalism at Southern Connecticut State University where she teaches "The Media: Freedom and Power," a course that explores the history and modernity of the First Amendment. She is also a mentor with Girls Write Now, a national organization based in NYC that encourages girls and gender non-conforming youth to elevate their voices in both print and digital forms.

She received her master's degree in Women's and Gender Studies from SCSU in 2022. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at UConn where she also double-minored in both Sociology & Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in 2020.

Her passion for BIPoC/LGBTQ+ empowerment, social justice issues, entertainment, wellness, and beauty remains steadfast as she produces content for publications such as the BY. Network, GF, and several other platforms.

The mental health of the BIPOC community, specifically of wmn and non-binary folks alike, tends to be neglected due to the urgency of frontline social justice, and as a result, not seen as an integral part of the revolution. The real revolution will happen once public activism is as equal as the personal.
