Gabby is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Journalism at Southern Connecticut State University where she teaches "The Media: Freedom and Power," a course that explores the history and modernity of the First Amendment. She is also a mentor with Girls Write Now, a national organization based in NYC that encourages girls and gender non-conforming youth to elevate their voices in both print and digital forms.
She received her master's degree in Women's and Gender Studies from SCSU in 2022. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at UConn where she also double-minored in both Sociology & Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in 2020.
