Hi! Welcome to my portfolio. I'm Dani, a strategic communications professional with over a decade of experience in agencies and consulting. A natural storyteller with a love for writing, I'm happiest when I can make real connections with people to understand their needs, and then put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard?) to solve their problems and make ideas come to life.

Client: YOOM (a character creation and animated solutions tech startup). I worked with CEO Gilad Talmon on thought leadership efforts, pitching and securing his admission as a contributor to Forbes Council. Once accepted, I prepared an editorial calendar of topics and ghostwrote the pieces. This was the first published article on how AI technology can improve game development.
In 2022, as part of an assignment for HBO Max (as it was then called), I drafted social copy for two upcoming shows, brainstormed creative digital content ideas for "Succession", and wrote a synopsis for the premiere episode of "The Gilded Age". I also converted this assignment into a presentation deck, which you can also view here in my portfolio.
The Cliffs Climbing + Fitness (since acquired by and now known as Movement) opened a new location in Gowanus, a Brooklyn neighborhood, in 2021. Working with the Cliffs team, I drafted the press release announcing the grand opening and translated the final version into Spanish.
Fats Duvall's Rhum Cafe was a new restaurant opening in New York City in December 2020. I worked with the team behind the venture to draft a press release announcing the grand opening. I also translated the release into Spanish and drafted a short description for the restaurant's website.
In 2017, I was invited to write an article for Remezcla, a publication focused on Latin media and entertainment. My article covered a recently published story on The Hollywood Reporter about DACA recipients working in Hollywood and their fears of a potential rescinding of the program following the start of the first Trump administration.
In 2015, I had the opportunity to attend the Cannes Film Festival and provide publicity support to SydneysBuzz, a contributor to IndieWire that focused on the international film industry and market. While there, I attended a TimesTalk discussion with Oscar-nominated actress Salma Hayek and wrote an article about the experience. The piece was published on SydneysBuzz and then cross-posted to IndieWire as well.
