I'm a Chicago-based freelance writer, editor and content producer with extensive experience in the fields of ecology, conservation and the environment.
First as editor-in-chief of Chicago Wilderness Magazine and then with the Forest Preserves of Cook County communications team, I've worked for more than a decade to inspire people to engage in a meaningful long-term relationship with the natural world.
Whether for conservation or another field, I can help develop your message and deliver clear, relevant, engaging content that will open doors and lead to action.

Every visitor to Intuit gets an education. But not everyone sets foot inside Intuit's building, which is why for years the organization has made significant efforts to bring arts education outside its walls.
Every kid should have the chance to climb a tree, follow a trail or camp under the stars. I wrote copy for this brochure, incorporating input from a wide range of community groups and educators.
We’ve traveled to the far ends of the region and discovered miracles in large preserves and small backyards; we’ve followed guides, scientists, canoeists, seed collectors, and buckthorn-cutters in all kinds of weather.
