Cornell Madison is a Marine Corps Veteran, Law Enforcement Executive, and Community Leader running for Clayton County Sheriff in 2028. With a career spanning roles as Police Officer, Special Agent, Deputy Sheriff, and Assistant Chief of Police, he has earned recognition including the Georgia Governor’s Safety Award and the Joseph Whitehead Jr. Award for his commitment to public safety, transparency, and accountability. Beyond law enforcement, Madison supports community programs such as Marine Toys for Tots, Hope Floats Foundation, the American Red Cross, and local youth and elder care initiatives, while serving on the Clayton County Planning and Zoning Advisory Board and Visitors and Tourism Advisory Board.
