Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Savannah's City Market area in the early morning hours of July 8. 2015 Savannah Music Festival Coverage
I was able to catch Jarekus Singleton, along with the Heritage Blues Orchestra, showcase their music March 21 for the Savannah Music Festival, and the performance was simply sublime. The Heritage Blues Orchestra opened their set with a slew of head-bopping, feet-stomping old blues tunes which came to an eventual halt as the majority of the band exited the stage.
I had the pleasure of watching the beautiful Irma Thomas perform at the Ships of the Sea Museum on March 28, along with the daring Dirty Dozen Brass Band. The two performances were simply out of this world. The only downside about the night was the temperature.
