Professional Works
I interviewed our Coordinator of Career and Professional Development at the time, Kevin Myles about what advice he would give to students. It resulted in this post detailing the importance of LinkedIn and Handshake.
There were a series of post detailing what students needed to do and know about scheduling, degree audits, and in this one, program guides. I used screenshots of La Roche’s website to direct students to where they needed to go to access these guides.
I designed these flyers to promote the various events at my internship including Project Prom, Allegheny County Music Festival, and Holiday Project to potential volunteers.
Published Works
This is a paper written about how an animal that wasn’t a pet had impacted your life that I had published in my school's literary magazine.
I surveyed to 100 people on how social media effects mental health and turned the data into infographics and a well-rounded survey story.
I talked to one of La Roche’s counselors about how the pandemic was effecting students’ mental health and where they could go to obtain any help they needed.
Photography
The goal of this project was to use one subject and end up with twenty different photos. I chose my cat for this, which gave way for a multitude of difficulties; the main one being utilizing a living subject that has no reason to listen to me. I also ran into lighting issues, as he is a black cat, but I ended up pleased with the results of this project.
This photo was taken from Mount Washington in Pittsburgh. It was taken using a zoom lens and was done experimenting with long exposure techniques.
