I'm a creative thinker with a talent for conceptualizing, writing and visualizing. A media arts major specializing in film and video production, I wrote and directed two independent films before becoming a video scriptwriter and producer for a major corporation. At that same company I advanced in a career in Marketing Communications, combining my writing skills with project management to support large, multi-audience marketing campaigns. In addition, I have taught college-level courses on media scriptwriting and film studies, and have written about film for books and magazines.

Heart Month Events Mailer

Magazine format mailer sent to 30,000 households to advertise a program of public seminars during National Heart Month, 2016. Also included are patient stories, a story on the Heart Hospital's 10th anniversary and heart health information. I wrote the copy and coordinated all the public events advertised.

Weight Loss Surgery Direct Mail

For this direct mail piece, I served as copywriter and project manager. The mailer was part of an ad campaign that included a TV spot, Facebook sponsored posts and Google banner ads.

Children's Health Tips Brochure

This is just one example from a series of brochures that I researched and wrote on various children's health and safety topics. The brochures were distributed to pediatrician and family medicine offices to display in their waiting areas and give parents helpful reading material. They also helped elevate the Palmetto Health brand.
