My name is Zach Emmanuel and I am a technology writer, currently working for market research company, Mintel. Previously, I worked as a reporter at IT publication Computer Weekly. I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2016, having achieved a 2:1 in Journalism and the NCTJ Diploma.

I have a passion for the latest developments in technology from smart home products to artificial intelligence. This is something I have such an interest in because of how much these devices and technologies impact our lives currently and how they will in the future, plus they are advancing at such a fast pace.

Consumers accept fraud danger as online shopping increases, research finds

The majority of consumers accept they are vulnerable to online fraud as online shopping continues to increase in popularity, research by Paysafe has found. The payment services provider surveyed 5,056 individuals from the UK, US, Germany, Austria and Canada. It found that 68% of UK respondents preferred online shopping, yet 65% agreed that falling victim to fraud was "inevitable".
