Wendy Gossett

My career has included writing in the nonprofit sector, the Architecture/Engineering/Construction community, the legal community and small businesses. With a B.S. in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Colorado Boulder, I began my career in the performing arts realm in Boston, as co-administrator of a chamber music ensemble. Returning to my native Colorado, I worked in the legal community for two nonprofit organizations closely aligned with the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations. Later, I elected to ply my marketing/communications skills through writing for an international architecture firm, ultimately leading to a lot of freelance writing in the A/E/C industries. I have also written nearly 75 grant applications for nonprofit organizations, ranging from the arts to human services agencies. Recent freelance work also includes working with small businesses, including that for an interior design firm.
