Lara Zawacki, MPA, discovered her passion for grant writing and community building through a deeply rooted commitment to advocacy and service. From her early days in the United States Coast Guard to her roles in healthcare and special education, Lara's professional journey has been shaped by her drive to respond to needs and create meaningful change.

Her dedication to fostering community partnerships and sustainable development led to the establishment of Zyd Worx, a grant writing and nonprofit consulting business that evolved from an internship with Points of Diversity into a fully operational LLC in 2013. Over the years, Lara has spearheaded initiatives that raised approximately $2.5 million for diverse organizations, cultivated impactful networking partnerships, and designed strategic fundraising plans to bolster nonprofit success.
