Wendy Smith has been assisted with Publix supermarket for 3 decades now. She started working as a front service clerk in Florida in March 1987 and went on to get promoted to multiple positions. She got promoted to a full-time customer service staff in 1990, promoted to the second assistant manager in 1992, and promoted as the assistant store manager in 1995. In 1998, she bagged the position of the store manager. She was responsible for $78 million in sales, hired, trained and evaluated personnel in retail stores, balanced cash, and managed store accounting. Wendy is currently serving as the District manager at Publix Supermarket since 2001. She supervises 30 store managers, 4500 department managers, assistant department managers, and associates. She managed to improve the net profit while reducing the payroll annually.
Wendy Smith completed her education at the Saint Petersburg college in 2004.
