Wolfgang Amadeus Helnwein

Freelance writer/PRO

Location icon Ireland

Art is the thing I know best. Writing is my trade, but I'm familar enough with painting and painters to get to write about them quite frequently. Creative individuals of all kinds interest me though, so I've written about bands and solo artists, poets and everything in between. Writing outside of my comfort zone is an adventure and something I got a taste for in my time as an intern at the Munster Express here in Ireland. With that my interests expanded to small businesses of all kinds, so I'm also quite a home writing advertising supplements about car maintenance and articles about a new hairdressers opening as I am about the next big thing in art.

If you need press releases, feature articles, newsletters or webcontent written on time and for a fairly reasonable price, I'm your man. See the samples below for an idea of what I've done in the past and be sure to contact me for references and testimonals from previous clients.

LAUNCH LA Press Releases & Artist Bios

Launch Marion Lane

Marion Lane LAUNCH LA is proud to present Adventures in Suntan Alley by Marion Lane. This latest exhibition is a delightfully curious interpretation of Los Angeles' unique visual brand.

Launch Fleurette West

Compression View by recent graduate Fleurette West West's exhibition is vibrancy in its most extreme. Her architecturally precise approach to chaos melds the line between two dimensional and three dimensional space. Parts of the canvas open up and draw us in, perhaps to some space beyond the background.

Launch Thomas Dang

Bombs Away by recent graduate Thomas Dang. In his exhibition, Dang melds impending horrid death and the beauty of the meticulously crafted object. Unseen skies rain down an arsenal of bomb pods. Their cargo: pathogenic organisms caught between B-movie horrors and swollen versions of the microbes which inhabit our bodies.

Launch Todd Carpenter

Todd Carpenter LAUNCH LA is proud to present Todd Carpenter's Solo show, Grey. In this exhibition Carpenter demonstrates that his appeal lies both in the meticulous forethought with which he crafts his works and in his natural eye for what makes a scene truly captivating.

Rosie's bagels take wings to Europe

Rosie's Broadway Bagels however is based in Dungarvan and is a thriving business which in the last eight years has expanded from two people producing 100 bagels a day to a 5000 square foot factory employing fourteen staff members.
