Sydney Krastins is a recent graduate of The State University of New York at Oneonta with a B.A. in English and minor in professional writing. This major/minor combination is specifically formatted to prepare students for careers in fields such as editing, publishing, copywriting, or content creation/marketing.
Sydney is a freelance writer and editor and has worked on several publications such as SUNY Oneonta's The State Times and Woodstock, Vermont's The Vermont Standard Newspaper. Currently, she holds a remote content and copywriting internship for a startup company, Bright Shiny Objects, that provides services and products for women with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
This portfolio features publications and writing from her time in college and thereafter, such as news stories, blog posts, literary and personal essays, and research papers.
She aspires to find permanent editorial and/or content creation work in the New York City or Chicago area.
