Niamh McKevitt

Freelance Content Writer

United Kingdom

I am a writer based in both New York City, USA, and Sheffield, UK. I was first published in 2015 when Vision Sports released 'Playing with the Boys' a memoir based on my experience playing mixed football. It made the Amazon.co.uk bestsellers list in August, September, and October 2015.

I have written articles for several national and international news and media outlets – such as The Guardian, The Huffington Post, ITV, the BBC, the New Statesman, and La Vanguardia (Spain) – initially about my unique experience as a junior footballer (soccer player), but latterly about women’s soccer and sport in general.

On top of this, I have significant content writing experience. I have worked in-house as an account executive at a PR agency and as a member of the editorial team while working at a marketing firm. I have also been a freelance content writer for the past two years.

Amongst other things I am significantly experienced in creating SEO content, writing for both B2C and B2B clients, and social media posting.
