He died from the virus in 1989 when he was 37 years old. The Voice and Jamar Rogers

Last night, while the rest of the world was watching the Oscars, I was catching this week's episode of Celebrity Apprentice. Now don't get me wrong, Apprentice makes for some great entertainment, but it's so much easier to spend a Sunday night staring at hunks like George Clooney and Brad Pitt than Aubrey O'Day's blindingly burnt orange colored hair, Lou Ferrigno's aging muscles and Dee Snider in drag.
I've never been a big fan of The Celebrity Apprentice. Donald Trump's hair scares me. But this season I'll be tuning in because three celebrities are braving the Trump family wrath to raise money for HIV/AIDS charities.

You know those videos when soldiers are returning home from overseas and they decide to surprise their families by jumping out of boxes or disguising themselves as the pizza delivery person? Well I love those, and I bawl my eyes out every time I watch.
Gossip Girl has occupied my Monday nights for the past five years. This isn't the kind of show that I can set my DVR to record and then maybe get around to it before the next episode airs. It took Taylor Swift rapping her own rendition of the hip-hop star's single "Super Bass" on the radio in her cutesy country twang and the precocious 8-year-old Sophia Grace belting out "boom ba doom ba doom ba doom boom baby" with her adorably awkward cousin Rosie for me to finally catch on to the crazy haired cultural phenomenon.
