On Tuesday, February 10th, at approximately 5:11 PM, officers were alerted to a call that shots were fired in the 200 block of Summerwalk Circle in the Lake Forest Condominiums. The complex is home to many UNC graduate students. Police officers say that when they arrived three people were already dead.

Congress just made it easier to buy and sell medical marijuana

In the 1.1 trillion federal appropriations bill that Congress just passed, there is now some federal legal protection to medical marijuana use. Marijuana will still be illegal under federal law but this gives those who needed for medical use a little bit of leeway.

MDMA dealer responsible for Electric Zoo deaths pleads guilty

During last year's Electric Zoo Festival in New York two people died due to MDMA related causes. The 24-year-old dealer is facing up to a year in prison. The deceased, 23-year-old Jeffrey Russ and 20-year-old Olivia Rotondo were given the drugs by Patrick Morgan who was arrested earlier this year.
