Women's basketball loses late to Mission College

The De Anza women's basketball team's three-game winning streak came to an end on Friday, Jan. 29, losing 76-68 to Mission College. Forward Marina Ramon-Lopez controlled the post and scored 24 of the team's 68 points, but the Dons' rebound trouble and high turnover rate ultimately cost them the game.

DASB Senate general election: Foothill-De Anza board student trustee candidates

After nearly two quarters serving as a DASB Senate intern and a senator, Omar Din is proud of his accomplishments. Din negotiated the contract that gave De Anza College students access to extended study hours at San José State University’s King Library while De Anza’s library was closed for renovations. Present-day anti-Muslim bias linked to WWII internment

Linking World War II internment with present-day discrimination against Muslims, guest speakers said that history is repeating itself as De Anza College students and community members gathered to commemorate Japanese internment.
