I'm a senior at Marietta College majoring in public relations and advertising with a minor in French, set to graduate May 2015. I plan on entering the fashion industry upon graduation and using both my acquired skills from the classroom and my creative writing and problem solving skills to make a splash on the scene. I thrive from chaos and short deadlines. I have experience ranging from merchandising luxury collections and assisting with buyer appointments in New York City to serving as a public relations specialist for a local non-profit organization in Columbus, Ohio.
Though the foundation of my education is based around professional communication and business strategies, I take care to forge fashion opportunities for myself whenever possible. I keep a close eye on all industry trends, from small boutiques to major fashion houses and luxury brands. The constantly changing landscape of the fashion industry both fascinates and fuels me. I believe that with my strong background in writing and being able to adapt to meet the wants and needs of diverse clientele combined with my knowledge and love of fashion and luxury markets makes me a unique candidate.
