Business Writer and Editor

Location icon Philippines

Hi! I am Julianne Marie Leybag, and I am currently working as a financial content producer and editor for the Manila satellite office of Momentum Media Group, a business publishing company based in Australia.

I am a financial writer by day and reader by night with a great deal of respect for the written word. I am an experienced writer and editor with a demonstrated history of working in the writing and editing industry. I have fallen in love with business/finance writing and I have chosen to hone my writing abilities in this particular field.

My work has allowed me to write and edit content for several industries, including but not limited to finance, business, academics, advertising, health, news and current affairs, and science and technology.

Moreover, my experience in this field allows me to easily switch between different writing styles, from journalism to marketing/PR to business writing. I am particularly skilled in content development, business/finance writing, editing, and research.

Aside from working as a business/finance writer, I am currently preoccupied with finishing my second degree in BA Multimedia Studies while still managing to sneak in some time to read my ever-growing pile of books. I also do freelance academic content writing on the side. I believe that writing should be concise, readable, and straightforward enough to be understood by everybody.
