My name is John Loop and I am a Journalism major concentrating in Digital and Print Media at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I am a native of Coppell, Texas where I attended Coppell High School and graduated in 2014. I am also a brother of Iota-Zeta Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at the University of North Texas.

My previous professional experience includes interning with Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine, Conference USA and the National Football Foundation as well as being published on SB Nation's Rule of Tree blog focused on Stanford University Athletics. I have also authored my own personal sports blog called "In The Sports Loop" as well as previously co-hosted a weekly college football podcast, "The Two Minute Drill."
