I am a Student Journalist in my third and final year of my Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) at Deakin University.
My interests range from sports to photography. I am also interested in travel, lifestyle, and fashion.
I have recently interned with the Deakin Melbourne Boomers who play in the WNBL in their 2017/18 season as their main social media person. Now I am currently interning with the Eastern Football League for the 2018 season as a part of their media team.
If you’d like to get in touch, feel free to say hello through my contact page or click through to my social media links.

Not even an iPhone X can capture the scale of the stadium! A Saturday night, a stinking hot Etihad Stadium, and 60,000 screaming Ed Sheeran fans. He didn't disappoint. Across Australia and New Zealand, the Divide Tour cracked the one million ticket sales breaking a record set back in 1986 by Dire Straits.
I sat down with Maddie Garrick who has been playing with the WNBL side Deakin Melbourne Boomers for the last three years. It was just recently announced that she had re-signed with the Boomers for her fourth season for 2018/19.
Ashleigh Hunt is just 23 years old and is successfully running her own hairdressing business called Ashleigh Jayne Hair Artistry. Without a university degree in business or advertising she has managed to create her business from scratch largely using social media to become a savvy marketer of her own brand.
The NBL 2017-18 Grand Final Series went the distance with the fifth and final game between Melbourne United and Adelaide 36ers on Saturday night. Hisense Arena sold out with 10,300 fans creating the crazy atmosphere. The story so far... Game 1: United defeated 36ers, 107-96 points. Game 2: 36ers defeated United 110-95.

We didn't in the past, but Australia is changing and that change is challenging those who would rather have respect shown for the important three days of Easter.
