Jazmyn Tuberville loves connecting brands with consumers through a friendly and informative lens. An expert at building brand loyalty and trust, Jazmyn currently helps shape the perception of Samsung as a senior digital media planner at Starcom in New York.
A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Jazmyn has honed her writing and project management skills over the past 5+ years through editorial and video production work at Time Inc. and CNN, external and internal storytelling as a part of Facebook’s Corporate Communications team, growing Business and User Support at Foursquare, and as a Community Manager at PR firm, M Booth.
Her client roster spans industries including: CPG, Travel/Hospitality, Entertainment Media, and Technology.
While at MTV, she led content strategy for the award-winning, pro-social Look Different campaign, arming young people with tools to fight against racial, gender, and anti-LGBT bias. Her work producing segments with MTV talent and writing educational blog posts for Look Different digital platforms more than doubled previous engagement benchmarks for the brand’s content.
She’s especially proud of her work at Facebook where she led a redesign of the company’s WomenConnect app. Her initiative in writing fresh content, researching relevant brand partner Pages to include within the app, and putting together an internal cross-functional team resulted in an active user base of more than 30 million women connecting globally through the app.
