My expertise is in the Scandinavian languages and their history. As of the school year 2017-18, I have been hired as Instructor of Nordic Studies and Nordic Program Coordinator at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Previously I taught at the University of California, Berkeley (2015-17) and the University of California, Los Angeles (2011-14), where I offered courses in Norse language, society, and myth. I earned my Ph.D. in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Georgia.
