Gabe Wanissian (Born February 18, 1994) is a Journalist who covers local/national news, politics, personal profiles and entertainment pieces/reviews. He is currently a Staff Writer for The Montclarion(student newspaper at Montclair State University. He previously served as the Editor-in-Chief, Layout Editor, and Sports Editor for The Torch, the award-winning student newspaper of Bergen Community College (2014-2016.) During Gabe's two-year tenure in the publication, The Torch achieved 3rd place and 1st place in overall excellence for two-year colleges at the New Jersey Press Foundation Awards.

Gabe's personal achievements include three 1st Place NJPF awards (In News, Personality Profile, and Sports) and two 2nd place awards (in Editorials, and Features). He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in Montclair State University, and previously earned his Associate's Degree in Journalism at Bergen Community College with a 3.4 GPA, .

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, making youtube videos, and playing baseball.
