A View To A Kill And Other African Adventures

August 2001 I arrived in Zanzibar several days ago after a two-week safari in Kenya and Tanzania. I will hang out here for another few days and then will travel to Uganda (former home of my favorite dictator-Idi Amin) and then to Rwanda to track mountain gorillas. Our safari was a great experience.

May 2001 I am currently in Cuzco, Peru, which is located in southern central Peru. About 500 years ago Cuzco was the seat of the Inca Empire. There is an abundance of Inca ruins to visit in the vicinity and, in fact, within the next couple of days I am going to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
