Isaac Grelk is defying the odds

Cross country is a difficult sport. It can be draining mentally, physically and emotionally and requires the toughest of athletes to train and endure for the 3.1 mile race. For Papillion-La Vista senior Isaac Grelk, he has an entirely different set of obstacles he must overcome as well. Grelk is legally blind.

Williams takes over reigns with familiarity of Monarch Way

The Papillion-La Vista Monarchs enter the 2019 season with a new head football coach. However, Tim Williams, is not new to the Omaha area. Williams takes over as the Monarchs head coach after five seasons as the head coach at Waverly High School.

Big plays propel Bellevue West over Papio South

Jevyon Ducker got the Thunderbirds on the board before the fans were even settled in their seats. The Northern Illinois commit broke the first play of the game for a 65 yard touchdown and put Bellevue West up 8-0 to start the contest after a successful two-point conversion.

Bellevue West uses early lead to win big over Elkhorn South

The Nate Glantz to Zavier Betts connection is turning into an absolute lethal combo. After connecting for two huge touchdown passes last week, Glantz and Betts connected on two more Friday against Elkhorn South to propel the Thunderbirds past the Storm. Bellevue West head coach Michael Huffman was complimentary of his receiver and quarterback.

Chase Young is prepared to lead Ohio State's defensive line

Ohio State has gone through many changes this off season. A new head coach, a nearly entirely new defensive staff, tons of contributors headed to the NFL and a transfer quarterback are just some the highlights of the eventful winter. However, one thing was certain to remain the same.

Papio wins the Papio Invite, Bahl commits to Oklahoma and Peterson gets win no. 400

It was a big week and weekend for the Papillion-La Vista softball team. On Monday, Sept. 16, standout pitcher Jordyn Bahl committed to play college softball at Oklahoma. To follow that up on Thursday, she hit three home runs in three at-bats, which was a school record, and pitched three innings, giving up no hits and striking out nine against Marian.

Breaking down the Iowa State starting lineup

As the NCAA tournament tips off and the participating teams get rolling, Ohio State fans will have to stay up past their bedtime to watch the No. 11 seeded Buckeyes take on the No. 6 seed Iowa State Cyclones. That game is one of the final Friday games and has a current tip time of 9:50 p.m.

Ohio State men's basketball vs Wisconsin: Game preview, prediction

Ohio State is in trouble and so are their NCAA tournament hopes. Since the loss of Kaleb Wesson to suspension, the Buckeyes are 0-2 and have been outscored 154-101 by Purdue and Northwestern. Without Kaleb, this OSU squad looks completely different on both sides of the ball.
