I have been writing for a couple of years now after a long career in nursing. I have successfully completed a writing course which has given me numerous transferable skills.
I have a keen interest in nursing, history and parenting as non fiction pieces, and I have had work published on these themes. I am now working on more fiction; including short stories and flash fiction. I am also developing a full length novel.
I write a monthly newsletter for the PTA of the school my child attends, which has allowed me to develop my skills further.
