In a tightly contested match, the C. Milton Wright Mustangs boys soccer team outlasted the North Harford Hawks 2-0 in both clubs' UCBAC Chesapeake Division opener on Wednesday evening. With the win, the Mustangs (3-0-1) remain unbeaten through their first four contests, outscoring opponents 9-2 during that stretch.

John Carroll football takes down Bel Air in 'Battle of Bel Air'

The Bel Air High School Bobcats' defensive woes continued against the John Carroll Patriots, losing 38-17 on Friday night. It was the second straight loss for the Bobcats (1-2), which have been outscored 78-27 during that stretch. On the other side, the Patriots (3-0) have now won three straight to start their season.

Harford Tech comes from behind to win first regional football title

In a matchup between two dominant high school football programs, the Harford Tech Cobras edged out the Kent Island Buccaneers, 22-21, for the Cobras first-ever Class 2A East Region football championship. Both clubs entered the contest coming off blowout wins, fans anticipated a titanic struggle between the undefeated Cobras (12-0) and the equally impressive Bucs (9-3).
