An unforgettable journey
This article was published in Modern Athlete magazine after I took part in the Lesotho Wildrun in 2011.
With a background in sport, travel and adventure writing I specialise in creating and managing content on these topics but I am well versed in writing on a variety of topics and in different styles depending on the publication and platform.
Past experience includes working in different communication and media capacities for Wildrunner trail running events, TDA Global Bicycle Expeditions, Modern Athlete running magazine and the national Afrikaans Sunday newspaper, Rapport.
I am adventurous and creative, always searching for new opportunities to explore and learn and always on the look-out for a challenge.

As communications officer, I blogged regularly and wrote weekly press releases on our progress on the Tour d'Afrique cycle tour from Cairo to Cape Town.
I manage and write the Wildrunner Weekly newsletter, going to over 26,000 subscribers.
I sub-edit the Klaserie Chronicle, a quarterly magazine reporting on the activities of Eco Children, a non-profit organisation based in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.
Since 2012 I have been collating, managing and editing the Eco Children Annual Report. Eco Children is a registered non-profit organisation based in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.
I managed the redesign and development of wildrunner.co.za and trailseries.co.za and am well versed in managing online content.
