Seedy bread made simple

Baking bread is one of those things that you basically assume is impossible. You think it's for people who have way too much time on their hands (or geniuses) and you hear horror stories about how your friend once tried to bake bread and it was basically a gluten-filled brick.

Music for that January mood

I find January to be a melancholy month: after the holidays, but spring has yet to make any appearances; the whole month is kind of like a bad hangover after the festivities of December.

Midterm Survival Stew

It's that time of year again, when the crisp fall air makes you want to wear cosy grandpa sweaters and snuggle under warm quilts, and has you visualizing steaming mugs of tea. It's also the time of midterms and colds, and if you're like me you live in fear of a combination of those two.

A healthy(er) start to the New Year

So, I adore chocolate. I mean, really, who doesn't? And the holiday season was brimming with multitudes of chocolate, cake, cookies, bars, truffles, you name it; and I admit, I overindulged.

A diamond in the rough: Pretty Little Dirty

Pretty Little Dirty by Amanda Boyden is one of those books that I can pick up time and time again. One of those stories for which, although I know the plotline from beginning to end, I still find myself laughing and crying along with the characters.
