These are not the activities of the typical modern family, but many urbanites are eschewing convenience for the adventure of self-reliance.
Artists are virtually everywhere you go in Tulsa. The barista who makes your lattes in the morning might be writing a novel. The guy bagging your groceries might sketch portraits on his lunch break. The idea of the "working artist" has evolved into "working while being an artist" as individuals continue their prosaic careers, but never stray far from their artistic passions.
Created social media plan and posts to increase enrollment in a series of classes by adding interest to the brand and writing engaging posts. Results? Most classes sold out!
Assisted with rebrand of local nightclub following a renovation and revamping of programming. I relayed the needs of the client's new approach to a graphic designer, while creating copy that reflected a new mood to appeal to a different audience. A private party was held prior to the grand opening, which I also organized and engaged the taste makers of the newly targeted demographic.

The humble taco has taken on a variety of forms in kitchens across Tulsa. Using the simple formula of tortilla + protein + veggies + cheese, chefs are creating imaginative taco concoctions with flair. Jerk chicken with Caribbean spices replaces grilled meats flavored with cumin. Sometimes meat is replaced all-together to create a vegan-friendly taco.
