Freelance Writer

My journey in Journalism started in 2008 when I began writing for my college newspaper, The Journal. Since graduating from Webster University with a B.A. in Journalism in 2009, I have written news and features for several publications.

I am most interested in investigative journalism, health beat, business advertorials and beauty content. I have written as a freelancer for both print and online mediums in both news-based and advertising-based business.

I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, singing Kareoki with friends, and journaling my random thoughts as well as spending time meditating. I enjoy yoga and spiritual mediations as well. I feel most in-tuned with my true self while writing outdoors. Beautiful world we live in!

Currently, I am unemployed but looking for work in the newspaper/magazine industry. I would love to become a full-time writer for a publisher, but if that cannot happen I would definitely consider taking freelance opportunities.
