Traneah Ford

Content Writer + Editor

United States

Hi, my name is Traneah! I am a content writer and editor specializing in a variety of content ranging from business skills, leadership and management, HR compliance, software skills, lifestyle, beauty, and travel content.

For my day job, I write and edit videos and supplementary materials for a business training company that produces training videos and courses based on a range of topics. From business skills, diversity and inclusion, HR compliance, chemical safety--you name it! In this role, I work with other writer/editors, clients, subject matter experts, guest speakers, graphic designers, and producers to create our BizLibrary (BLP) Collection videos. I also seek new topics that would be valuable to the BLP collection.

Also, in my handy toolbelt, I bring along experience in travel writing for Saint Louis- based publication, TravelAwaits. During my time with the publication, I created a variety of SEO, social, short-form, long-form, news, interview, food-related, and how-to pieces. In a span of 3 months, I wrote/updated more than 50 articles -- three of which ranked in the top 20 Google search results per SEMrush. Beyond TravelAwaits, I also have experience freelancing as a content writer/editor for a smaller online hair booking website, Ebena. With this role, I worked on projects such as updating their website's hair descriptions as well as writing and editing fresh, new content for their hair blog. Just like Mary Poppin's bag, the skills keep piling up, also in my toolbelt is experience working with MLA, APA, and Chicago Manual style guides.

And, not to be cliche, but I'm a passionate writer and a fast learner who loves to convey key ideas through relatable and friendly content. If I sound like your kind of girl, then let's get to work!

If I haven't bored you to sleep just yet, I'd love to connect! Shoot an email over to [email protected] -- let's make your content dreams a reality!
