Tracey relishes a good read, loves lists and stockpiles stationery. She loves nothing more than a new notepad and enjoys writing on a range of topics, from social history to popular psychology. Her two published pieces are shown below - one full length magazine feature and one contribution piece, both reflecting her interest in wartime Britain.
When she’s not writing, Tracey works as a school administrator and is passionate about promoting self-esteem in children. She routinely raids the school library for inspiration, and is busy working on her own middle-grade children's novel.
I love this photograph of my grandparents' wedding, c1941. I loved them both - my nana, with her wicked sense of humour, always pleased to see me, and my grandad, solid, dependable and totally under my toddler-sized thumb. In this photo, Charlie is wearing his Royal Artillery uniform, having taken two days leave of duty to marry his sweetheart, Hilda.
