Tim W. Jackson

Editor, Writer, Content Strategist, Storyteller

United States

My experience runs the gamut of communications and project management. Full-time roles range from editor-in-chief to writer/reporter, web editor to copy chief, book acquisitions editor to news entrepreneur, and more. I've also been a jack-of-all trades freelancer and consultant.

With a deep passion for music, I've worked extensively in that realm, including (among many other things) two years as the Senior Editor for DittyTV. But I also have passions for sports, the outdoors, social justice, the environment, psychology, politics, arts & culture, and travel just to name, well, quite a few.

I directed student media at a university and have been an adjunct instructor in communications and English. I am the author of "Gone Pro North Carolina and co-author of "Guide to the Natchez Trace Parkway" and "Weaverville: Images of America."

A Look at Scott Cook's "Tangle of Souls" - DittyTV

By Tim W. Jackson As a writer, I appreciate songwriting. But when a singer-songwriter's CD package includes a full book-liner notes to the extreme!-then I'm doubly impressed. Scott Cook has done just that with Tangle of Souls, a 12-song album complete with a hard-cover book of 240 pages released Aug.
