As far back as I can remember, I've always enjoyed writing short stories. After some discussion about what my future would look like, I found out about journalism and instantly fell in love. I shadowed the editor for the Indianapolis Business Journal, joined Southport High School's newspaper and became a writer for the Southsider Voice over the span of 3 years. I have won awards from Women's Press Club and Ball State's J-Day.
