RCR Arquitectes creates watercolour walls for Albert Adrià's restaurant

Dezeen promotion: Pritzker Prize-winning studio RCR Arquitectes worked with Neolith sintered stone to create the colour-washed walls and surfaces inside the new restaurant of former elBulli chef Albert Adrià. RCR Arquitectes teamed up with architect Pau Llimona to create the watercolour-patterned interior of Enigma, which opened earlier this year in Barcelona.

Tesco apologises after payment glitch pushes customers into red

Tesco has apologised to customers after it took up to three months to process hundreds of credit and debit card payments, causing some shoppers to go into the red. The UK's biggest retailer said 300 of its 1,700 Tesco Express convenience stores had been affected by a glitch in its payments system since the end of November.

Knocking on Devon's doors: an art-inspired break around Dartmoor

Silhouettes were replacing Dartmoor's details; its heather, ferns and grasslands were fading from view, the last rays of an orange sun departing a late-summer sky stippled with clouds. I watched, remembered to take a photograph, and soaked up one of those moments of stillness that make walking such an uplifting experience.

Rail firms 'consider' 26-to-30 railcard

Over four million young people in the UK could be set to benefit from a new railcard for 26 to 30 year-olds. The website MoneySavingExpert (MSE) said it had seen documents from the Rail Delivery Group (RDG), which owns the National Rail brand, confirming a rollout of the card next year.

Boardmasters Festival applies to increase numbers by 3,000 to go over 50,000

UPDATE: Permission has been granted for Boardmasters to expand. Boardmasters said it was going "above and beyond" with requirements for licencing and noise limits were in line with national guidelines for festivals. It added: "Boardmasters is a huge asset for Cornwall, generating £45 million for the county.
