Hello, I'm Siobhan. I'm currently a freelance creative copywriter in the UK, with over five years of industry experience. I specialise in creative digital projects, on-page copy, social media and blog content. I like to write about technology, food and places (real and fictional), although as a freelancer and agency copywriter my workload is varied and I've tackled most topics at least once!
My work has been featured on FWA and Awwwards, as well as in .net magazine, The Drum and even the Japanese magazine Web Design.
Aside from copywriting, my writing projects include working with games developers in narrative, editing and post-translation. I also like to write short stories, but I prefer reading them.
Please check out some of my favourite commercial projects here, and feel free to contact me if you'd like to know anything else about me or my work.

Large-scale on-page projects
HGF's website required a total re-write as part of a redesign. I was responsible for overseeing all content produced, from biography and product pages to micro-copy.
Pets at Home required a whole site re-write, starting with the Pet Care section. I was responsible for all content produced on this part of the site.
Research and content was required for destination pages across easyJet Holidays' catalogue. I was also responsible for sub-editing all content by other copywriters.
Creative Projects
My contribution to this project was described by Neil Gaiman as "actually funny" - a small but significant career highlight for me!
This teaching resource received an Awwwards Site of the Day in May 2013 with an 8/10 for content, and an FWA Site of the Day in July 2013.
This was an original concept of mine that was produced as part of Rosetta Stone's immersion learning campaign, using my research and copy.
This visual guide to the effects of drug driving received an Awwwards Site of the Day in Sept 2013, with a 7.6/10 for content.
An overview of the biggest cybercrimes throughout history, created in response to the Spamhaus attack. This was probably one of the most fun projects I've ever worked on!
A timeline of fictional sci-fi cities. A great deal of research into architecture and fictional worlds went into completing this piece, making it an instant favourite for me!
An infographic for a hotel chain looking to add a bit of pop culture to its online blog. Extensive research into each film was essential to give it a real film-nerd tone.
This piece was part writing, part logic puzzle, with a lot of time spent cross-referencing answer combinations to make sure the user always got the correct outcome.
This project involved collaboration across the agency, and yielded fantastic engagement as well as great data for client press releases.
Food is one of my all-time favourite things to write about, and this infographic was a really fun way to create a useful, instructive guide to barbecuing.
Part of a series of printable PDFs for those considering travelling to the Seychelles. This was my first large-scale project after joining Epiphany in September 2012.
